The event was a collaboration between the Scottish Government Health Directorates and UK Health professions regulators and the theme was “Changes and Challenges for Healthcare Regulation Patients”.
The event opened with a welcome speech by the Chair Jim Martin of the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman and a keynote speech by Alex Neil MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing. There were a number of talks and three parallel sessions throughout the day.
