Day 1 of this event included topics such as: medical revalidation, feedback from 2010 consultation & implementation, ‘CHKS’ and ‘Navigation’ Systems, perspectives from research and regulatory bodies on revalidation of healthcare professions, professionalism and panel Q&A’s.
Day 2 included topics such as: protecting vulnerable groups, models of assurance for the public, extending professional regulation to new professional groups, occupational licensing, healthcare assistants, advanced practice concept, ‘distributed model’ of revalidation and health care support workers implementation plan.
